Yep. The Aust live scene is again a total mess with lockdowns up and down the east coast. Impossible to plan anything – who knows when we’ll play again?
West Set (Sat Aug 21st) is now fully cancelled despite the best efforts of the City Of Maribyrnong and other Melbourne councils who are desperate to keep the local arts and music scene alive. We really appreciate their support but unfortunately the flow on effects for venues, bar/food staff, security and technical teams now won’t happen.
So we’re working on final tweaks to the last bunch of tracks for Rotsler’s Rules with long time Cab producer/mixer Woody Annison, plus mastering tracks with Andrei Eremin and working with Luke Fraser on various artwork stuff. It’s getting there – the last 2% always seems to take the most time.
